Alex Hormozi is an Iranian-American entrepreneur, investor, philanthropist, internet personality, author, digital marketer, podcaster, and public speaker who has made investments in the software, service, e-commerce, and brick-and-mortar industries.[1] He is best known as the co-founder and CEO of Acquisition.com, a holding company that oversees a portfolio of Hormozi’s private investment businesses.[2][3] Hormozi has authored Amazon's best selling book, $100M Offers that offers tips how to take the business to the next level. Hormozi has gained recognition for working closely with individuals and businesses with $3 million in revenue to scale faster.
Hormozi is also the founder and CEO of three companies, Gym Launch, a licensing business model; ALAN, a software company; and Prestige Labs, a gym supplement company.[4] He has established himself as an influential figure on Instagram and YouTube for sharing entrepreneurial content videos, which helped him in gaining a following on his social handles.

Early life and education
Hormozi was born and raised in the United States as a first-generation Iranian American. After completing his high school education, he attended Vanderbilt University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human & Organizational Development, focusing on corporate strategy.
Career
Entrepreneurial career
In 2013, Hormozi founded United Fitness, which quickly grew into a chain of six gym locations within three years. Subsequently, he sold these locations, which helped his transition into the turnaround business.[8]
In 2016, he established Gym Launch, which focuses on in-person turnarounds for struggling gyms. Recognizing the potential for higher impact, he transformed Gym Launch into a licensing business in 2017, empowering gym owners with the tools to transform their businesses. Hormozi played a vital role in helping over 4,500 facilities achieve sustainable growth.[9]
He realized the potential to provide additional value to the fitness industry, Hormozi launched Prestige Labs in 2019, a supplement company focused on creating profit centers for gyms and providing high-quality nutritional products. Hormozi also founded Movement Apparel, an athleisure brand offering fashionable, lightweight, and comfortable activewear.[10]
In 2020, Hormozi founded ALAN, a software company revolutionizing customer acquisition for brick-and-mortar businesses. ALAN's innovative technology-enabled businesses double customer traffic at a fraction of the cost of traditional front desk administration. This venture showcased Hormozi's ability to leverage his expertise in customer acquisition and monetization to provide effective solutions for entrepreneurs.[11]
To expand his investment, Hormozi established Acquisition.com in 2020. As a holding company, Acquisition.com makes minority investments in founder-owned businesses with positive cash flow and growth potential. Under this umbrella, Hormozi's portfolio includes 16 companies across various industries, generating over $200,000,000 in annual sales as of 2023.[12]
In 2021, Hormozi strategically sold a majority of ALAN's shares to a partner and divested a 66% stake in Gym Launch and Prestige Labs to American Pacific Group. These partnerships enabled him to leverage the expertise and resources of established entities while driving growth and innovation in his businesses.[13][14]

Philanthropy
